While millions of American taxpayers have received their stimulus checks, others have not claimed them yet. Money from Economic Impact Payments was necessary to overcome the unprecedented financial situation citizens had to face. However, high inflation is not making it easy either.
Despite the fact that the IRS has not set a date to send stimulus checks in November, some beneficiaries may receive money during this month. It is true that some beneficiaries may receive a tax refund from the IRS if they filed before July 1st. Therefore, your refund may be in your bank account by November 30.
The IRS has also informed citizens that there is still some time left to get stimulus check payments. Of course, this will only be possible for those who qualify for and claim a 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit. Bear in mind that you can do so on your 2021 federal tax refund.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER STIMULUS CHECKS IN SOME STATES?
The State of Virginia has informed taxpayers that they should check their eligibility for a rebate. It is simple and you can see it online, so there is no need to make any appointments. The 2023 rebate can provide eligible taxpayers in Virginia with a stimulus check of up to $400.

Bear in mind that married couples can opt for the largest payment. However, if you are a single taxpayer, you will only opt for the $200 payment. There are only 9 days to receive the payment since they expect to send this money by November 30.
In order to be eligible you must have filed your 2022 tax return by November 1, 2023. Those who filed before July 1 may receive their payment of up to $400 first. Those who have recently filed may have to wait a little longer so they can have time to process it.
Another requirement to receive this stimulus check is to have tax liability in your 2022 tax return. Therefore, that makes ineligible Virginians receiving Social Security benefits. This is because they do not have tax liability.
Can people receiving disability income collect the stimulus check in Virginia?
If you are a single taxpayer and your only source of income is your Social Security Disability Insurance benefits, you are not eligible for this tax rebate in Virginia.
People on disability benefits who do not have other earnings do not have any tax liability in Virginia. So, that makes you ineligible. That is the same for those on just unemployment benefits.
Other states like Washington have stimulus checks too. For example, if you want to apply you are still in time. Claim the Washington Working Families Tax Credit. These payments are worth up to $1,200 for those workers who are eligible.
This payment is only for residents in Washington. The ages to claim it are between 25 and 65. Having a qualifying child last year may allow you to claim even if you are not 25 yet. What is more, you will need an SSN or ITIN. Remember that it is only for those who filed their 2022 tax return. See more details on DOR.
